A day off

Today is one of the better days to be a college athlete. I had my two classes and now I just have to lift and get in a small workout on my own. I have already had to write two articles for the school paper and a seven page report today, but track season is finally over so I can kick my feet up and relax in anticipation for the football spring game tomorrow.

It is rough in the spring for me. Besides my classes and the school newspaper, I am in track and spring football. That means I have to go to class, eat, attend my second class, lift, go to track practice, then quick strap on my pads and go to football practice. When that is all done I have to complete all my homework before I hit the sack. It makes for a very stressful time but I wouldn't trade it.

I came to school at Northwestern College so I can play football while getting a Christian education. It is hard to believe that I'm almost a quarter of the way done with my college career. It fly's by. I was just informed yesterday that I will be hosting and helping run a new sports show that is going to be an online webcast. It is just another thing to add into my already full schedule but I'm excited for the opportunity.

Tomorrow is the spring football game and I am excited to strap the pads on and actually hit someone. Football is and always will be one of my top passions and I will be sure to inform everyone on how it goes.

Until next time... Cameron Carlow
